Obituary of Raymond M. Langan

Raymond M. Langan, Sr., age 83, formerly of Boyertown, PA passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 17, 2022 surrounded by family.

He was son of the late Harry and Verna (Gooding) Langan.

Raymond honorably served in the U.S. Navy.  He was a member of St. Paul’s Church in Stowe.  He had been actively involved with the Boyertown Senior Center.  Raymond was a religious man and felt so blessed to be able to minister to others in all walks of life through his love for motorcycle riding and was a member of Agape Riders of the local chapter of CMA and served in various positions over the years. His faith in Christ was the strength of his life.  He loved socializing with his friends and family and always had a joke to share.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Doris J. (Dotterer) Langan of Pottstown;

son, Raymond Langan, Jr. ( & Mercedes Villafané) of Reading;

two daughters, Melanie ( & William) McKee of Pottstown and Louise Albitz ( & Joseph Priscoglio) of Downingtown;

sister in-law Virginia Langan;

eight grandchildren, Liana, Derick, Sophia, Isabella, Alicia, Gabriella, Taylor, Ed, Eric, Eliseo, Shannon and Alex;

eight great grandchildren, Eric Jr., Jax, Kailyn, Ayla, Vincent, Silas, Daxton and Aubrey;

two great-great grandsons, Gunner and Gage. 

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death two grandchildren, Raymond Curtis and Rachel C. Langan and brother Harry, John (& sister-in-law Silvia) Langan.   

His Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 22, 2022 at 10:30 AM from Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 224 West Main Street, Trappe, PA 19426.  Friends may call on Friday morning from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Funeral Home. 

Interment will take place in Hill Church Cemetery, Boyertown, PA.
