Obituary of Jianying Fan

Jianying Fan, age 79, of Royersford, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family, on January 28, 2015. Mrs. Fan was born in China on September 2, 1936, and is survived by her mother, Jene Zhu Fan. As a research microbiologist, she worked for the University of Pennsylvania for 20 years. Prior to moving to Royersford nine years ago, she resided in Havertown PA. Her children, Huan "John" Fan of Royersford, and Gelai Gong of West Chester will always remember her as the best mom and a very spiritual person; always putting others first. She will always be loved and remembered by her family. Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral in the Washington Memorial Chapel in Valley Forge National Historic Park, Rt. 23, Valley Forge PA 19481, on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at 11:00 AM with visitation from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Valley Forge Memorial Gardens.
