Betsy was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pa before settling in Schwenksville, Pa where she has live since 1985 She graduated from Cabrini College and received her Masters in Education from Gwynedd Mercy College Betsy worked with Montgomery Hospital in Norristown, Pa until she receieved her teaching degree, then she started teaching with Norristown School District and spent may years teaching at Hancock Elementary School
