Obituary of James F. G. McCann

James F. G. McCann, 78, of Norristown, PA, died on Thursday, July 24, 2014 at Seasons Hospice at Phoenixville Hospital in Phoenixville, PA. Born in Chester, PA on July 5, 1939 to James C. McCann and Bessie (Bailey), James had lived in the Norristown area all his life. He worked as a shoe salesman and as a dispatcher for a pharmacy delivery service. He also enjoyed boating. Survivors include companion Jane (Hiestand) McCann, daughter Janice Kopenitz of Limerick, PA, son James R. McCann of Bloomsburg, PA, sister Frances Leslie of Newark, DE and five grandchildren. His memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at 11:30AM from the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 224 West Main Street, Trappe, with the Rev. Richard Olson, II officiating.
