Frederick N. DiMarco, age 86, of Collegeville, passed away on Thursday, January 3, 2019.
Fred was born in Philadelphia, PA on March 12, 1932, the only child of the late Steven and Rose (Scallion) DiMarco. Fred earned his undergraduate degree from West Chester University and two Master's degrees from Villanova University. He had a long career as an educator teaching Geography and History for 30 years in the Wallingford-Swarthmore School District. He honorably served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict.
He was the husband of the late Yolanda (Trasatti) DiMarco.
Survivors include his four sons, Frederick N. "Chip" ( & Virginia) DiMarco, Jr. of Waban, MA, Steven F. ( & Betty-Ann) DiMarco of College Station, TX, Brian R. ( & Deanne) DiMarco of Collegeville, PA, and Christopher M. ( & Elizabeth) DiMarco of Dallas, TX.
Fred is also survived by ten grandchildren, Sean, Maggie, Ryan, Grace, Nicholas, Thomas, Michael, Jason, James, and Samuel.
His Funeral Service with Military Honors will be held on Friday, January 11, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 224 West Main St., Trappe, PA 19426. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and on Friday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home. Interment will take place at a later date.
