Obituary of Rosean Stead

Rosean Stead, 76, of Conshohocken, PA passed away on February 7, 2018. She was born in Philadelphia, PA on October 3, 1941, the daughter of the late Joseph and Rita Mary (Darby) O'Donnell. Rosean has resided in Conshohocken since 1985, formerly of King of Prussia. She was a member of St. Matthew's RC Church. She volunteered for the R.S.V.P. (Retired Senior Volunteer Program) in Plymouth Meeting as well as at the Hallahan Catholic High School Alumni Office. She was the beloved wife of the late Howard C. Stead. Survivors include her two sons, Barney Stead of Conshohocken and Benjamin Stead of Conshohocken; Three sisters, MaryJo Golomboski of Norristown, Veronica Walsh of Maryland, Clare Nolan of New Jersey, Brother, John O'Donnell of Bensalem; Granddaughter, Britni; As well as nieces and nephews. Along with her husband and parents, Rosean was preceded in death by her brother, James O'Donnell. Her Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, February 18, 2018 at 3:00 PM in the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA 19428. Relatives and friends may call on Sunday afternoon from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be private at a later date in St. Matthew's Cemetery, Conshohocken. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: John W. Hallahan Catholic High School for Girls, 311 N. 19th St., Philadelphia PA 19103.
